The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it can be alarmed in regards to the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The service issue made for intervention encounters a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to permit the servicing of all clients and maximize access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
